2kgs gain!

Only pregnancies can make you excited about weight gain =)
So this morning I weighed myself and I've finally gained. Phew! Okay no more worrying about gaining weight now. In the following weeks, I'll keep an eye on it but I'm pretty sure it's starting to pile up. Though I must admit, I'm boggled by it. Surely there's something 'unsafe' about gaining a kilo a day? As they say, weigh gain's different for everyone. As long I'm putting on some - but not too much - every month, I'll be fine.

Few nights ago I dreamt of waking up in the morning to seeing dearest Along Nie, Abg Pu, Liza, Kak De and her sis-in-law in my living room giving me a surprise visit for support. Now isn't that just strange? Maybe I've been thinking too much about my family's visit soon.

Last night I watched a documentary on Jim Jones - Jonestown. Both amazed at his influential power and heart-wrecked by the loss of nearly 1000 people - by which 300 of them are children. His son said, the only mistaken fact about this history is, it was written as a mass-suicide when really it was a mass-murder.

Lil Miss Koda now pushes my protruding belly with her paws when she scrawls on me for a short nap or a cuddle. She has stopped landing on my tummy in the mornings but now on my sides. She'll have half of the upper body on top of me and the rest on my side. Don't think she appreciates the bulge, tho. She purrs, grunts, sighs, coos, whines and even snores than letting out a perfect meow. Oh dear.

Y'know I'm not sure about any other Mommies out there but my hips are starting to get sore. Especially early in the morning. I'm a right-side sleeper though I try to sleep on my left-side (more blood and nutrients pass through the placenta and into baby), both ways it hurts after I wake up. Sleeping on my back is not advisable if you experience dizziness, but it doesn't help me coz for some reason, I feel 'heavy' and a little uncomfy on my back. So, welcome to the pregnancy world =)
