You, baby dearest, just made my week! Last night as I was lying down trying to get comfortable to sleep, I casually run my hand over my belly and there you are! Sticking out rather high from my pelvic bone. I can feel the hollow dip between my pelvic bone and the fundus/uterus on both left and right side of my lower belly. Cried out to Daddy to feel it (more like trying to confirm that I'm not just fantasizing about it). I've decided to call you Cookie instead of it. Sounds much better than being an it while we wait til we find out if you're a he or she.
Before bed last night I had squirmed on the sofa seat trying to find a better position to sit with my legs up. At one point I actually feel the teeniest resistant when I sit crossed legs and put my knees up. There's still no feeling of movement yet (and they say if it's your first, you won't be able to feel anything way up to 20 weeks!). Backpains has decreased tremendously, gum bleeds not so often, congested nose only appears at night, then again, I'm probably so used to it by now. My appetite has grown wild. At 1am this morning, I want both roti canai and asam laksa noodles.
We had few friends over few days ago and one mentioned she has a feeling that you're a boy. Some said girl. I hope we find out soon. Really can't wait! This morning on my routine step-on-the-scale, I lost a kilo. With all the lasagne, burgers, junk, and minced lamb pies, one would think I'd gained 5 kgs already. Yet, Daddy seemed to have gained weight. Suppose it's the moody-emotions swings I had last week.
Going to Coles now for some groceries and household items.
Til then!
