Weekend and Appointment

Woke up this morning without feeling lethargic, sore or nausea. That's a first. In a loooong time.

Saturday went over to Nurul's for some laksa johor and Syad's trifle *yum* though wasn't feeling too well earlier before we left. Luckily a very quick eye-shut did the trick. Aside from nausea and indigestion, I'm also experiencing loose stools. Almost daily. No fun.

Yesterday the weather was too good to stay indoors so your Daddy woke up and told me to get ready, we're going out! Went to the farmer's market - which we had intended to for few weeks by now - at the very classy renovated Wayville Showground and bought some items there. Some ladies at the market actually noticed and remarked I've not too long to go. Which I do find interesting. They noticed I'm already carrying so low. Me on the other hand, hmm.. hard to tell I must admit. All I can see in the mirror is.. my, my, it's huge!

Then we headed for the IndoFest at Rymill Park. It was allright. The band is quite good. All those walks although uncomfortable, was refreshing and good. Until I got to bed last night with rather bearable cramps and sore hips. But I was too tired and sleepy and they were bearable so it's no big deal. Slept through most of the night and that's good.

37 weeks!
Can you tell I'm carrying low already..?

At today's appointment, blood pressure's quite low. 80/60. But not at an alarming state. Your heart rate's 140bpm which is within healthy range. We discussed more about inducing and dates. So far we've 2 dates in mind. They'll give me a call in few days to confirm availability. Dr Chandler also mentioned methods of inducing and when to come in. Apparently they'll use gel first and if that doesn't work in time - which usually doesn't especially in first timers - they'll proceed with breaking the water bag and drips. So all three methods! Also we talked about roughly when to expect baby after being induced.

I find myself unable to stop this craving for milk. Flavoured milk, that is. Especially strawberry or coffee. Maybe I'm low on calcium. Perhaps it helps with heartburn at night time. Either way, milk's good. Thank God it's not ice-creams or brownies, eh? *wink*

So!
While waiting and counting the days, I've suddenly an urge to bake and make something special. So far I've three in mind - cupcakes, trifle and/or cheesecake. And somehow I've a feeling.. why not all three! =)
