1100 - Let Koda out to the courtyard before going out
1130 - Returned home and let Koda out to her "playground" while going for a short morning walk
1145 - Koda's still playing in her playground, let her play and went inside making sure the side front gate's open so she can some in anytime she wants. The auto-gate is too narrow for her to squeeze in anymore
1300 - Went down to check on Koda at her "playground". No where in sight. Sometimes she goes off a bit but always returns to her "playground"
1500 - Koda's still no where in sight. Maybe she'll return later when she's hungry for lunch
1700 - Starts to wonder and worry where she could be
1800 - Went out again trying hard to not to think of the worst
1930 - Hubs n I walked around the neighbourhood with her favourite snack, calling out for her
2030 - Walked a little further around the neighbourhood, start calling out neighbours if they'd seen her
2100 - Walked around the entire block
2200 - Stood on the balcony mulitiple times calling out her name
2300 - Keeping an eye on streets just in case she comes. Found another fat black cat at Koda's "playground" instead. Seriously, that cat's so huge in the middle it looks like a raccoon!
2330 - Plan to call out for help and vet to report her missing tomorrow
0000 - Went to bed with such heavy heart
0400 - Couldn't sleep, went out to the balcony and start calling her again
0630 - Lay down to sleep and thinks about all the worse things that could happen to her outdoors at a temperature of 13 degrees!
0700 - Hubby opened the front door and there she is!
Hubby said he heard her meow-ing (if you know Koda, she hardly ever mew!) loudly 3 times trying to get in the house! Goodness me Koda. How she came through the front gate, we'd never know. Unlike other cats who climbs the wall, Koda's a little traumatic about walls (she fell off our kitchen balcony once and never tried climbing again).
Although she's been microchip-ed, it's such a heart-wrenching day and night. She comes in the front door, greets me briefly then straight to her food and water bowl. Goes to potty then jumped on the bed with us. She's been smooching and smothering us for a good one hour as if to say how glad she is to have found us again. Now hubby said she's grounded from going out. Hehe!
Don't think I can ever live without my lil furball =(
