Update

Yesterday we went to see Dr Hague again and he increased my dosage. And introducing another "slow-releasing" type tablets for before bedtime. My only problem with the new pills is that - it's freakin HUGE!! And I've to take TWO~! aww.. man..

Anyway he did the usual. Blood pressure, fundal height, weight, check baby's position, and urine test. Once again, he mentioned "it's not a small one in there!" (yikes!) and after testing my urine, "you sure are working hard with your diet.. no protein, no blood and little sugar". Yay! And "baby's sure been gaining weight but seems you're not", another yay! Aha! That just made my day *jiggles* I won't be seeing him next week because well.. in an attempt to have some sort of life, he's going on a holiday somewhere in the Pacific *i think*. But I will have to email him my recordings, etc. Ah, the wonders of technology.

I must've forgot to mention this. Last week we met Dr Bradbury. She certainly is lovely. I now wish she's my ob - then again, I wish every nice doctor is. Not to say Dr Chandler is not, because she too is lovely. And my midwives are excellent. So far. If I'm induced at 38 weeks, most probably she'll be handling me as Dr Chandler will be away by then.

Twice I woke up in the middle of the night freaking my mind out over baby things we've not bought yet. If I went into labour early, I might just hold the baby in because surely right now, my mind is not at ease. I'm just not mentally prepared for this just yet. I'm just not prepared for the baby to arrive yet. I need things for the baby to put my mind at ease for labour. My thoughts of labour are still not at ease until I feel I've ensure everything is prepared for the baby's arrival. Oh God.. oh God.. oh God..

On a different note, I sure feel heavier and even more tired. Sometimes I waddle through the day. So far I've gained 13kgs in total. By research, that's about the average pregnant ladies weight gain by the end of their pregnancy. But I've heard so many gained up to 20kgs I'm not so sure if it's reliable anymore. As long as I'm not losing any weight from the baby, it should be fine.

Oh yes, by the end of this week is the Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo. Burnside Hospital are giving away tickets so we easily get them for free. It's not expensive, anyway. I've never been to one so it's pretty exciting to see what's going on there. Hopefully discounts on strollers and baby items!
