Baby Day Out

Returned home on your 5th day.

Day 6 - Went Unley. To KidZone and Target. Daddy splurged more things on you =)

Day 7 - Your blood test outing. To Gribbles pathology, then to the market and Coles.

Day 8 - Shopping at Marion! At David Jones Mommy got a brand new Tefal breadmaker and Sunbeam Mixmaster!! Yayy!! Courtesy from Papa - a new mommy present =) Thank you, pa. We love you much much!

Day 9 - To Rundle Mall, Dymocks, David Jones, Myers and Angus and Coote. Lunch at Swinging Bowl. Your grandpa splurged on you baby (the whole family's been splurging on you everyday!) and spent hundreds of dollars on your clothes. Mama bought me a Laura Mercier make-up set as a new mommy present yayy!! We love you, ma! *hugshugs* Then your Daddy bought me a brand new Tissot watch! Thank u, Daddy. We love you much much much!!

So you see.
It's really not that bad giving birth (hee!).
No, really. Apart from receiving lavish presents worth hundreds of dollars from the people dear to my heart, giving birth is such an experience never in my mind I would've imagined.

Will I do it again?
Keep that question away from me for the time-being.

Oh and after few days out from the hospital, Papa n Mama turned out to be very lenient and relaxed about "pantang" and such. I'm not sure if it's because I've somehow convinced them to take matters as such in a different point of view OR it's the environment we're in that made them less pressured from those elder relatives back home. Papa doesn't restrict me from eating prawns, chickens and ice cold beverages. In fact, he said I can eat anything I want! As long as I take my medicines traditionally as well from the hospital. While Mama don't mind me going out with the baby.

It's either Papa misses dining with us (he sure seems to lose more weight since the last we met him) and loves to sit down and eat glorious food with us, while Mama just cannot stand staying at home doing nothing while I'm in confinement. Whatever the reason is, I am happy, content and glad everything turned out to be not-too-bad after all. Baby still goes through most traditional rituals such as 'bedung' (swaddle wraps), 'demah', etc etc.

Ok am off to golfing down some of that honey oat bread made from the brand new breadmaker! Can't wait to try on my new makeup tomorrow and showing off my brand new watch =D

xx
