Cord Stump - 7th Day

Don't worry.

I'm on a mission to finish writing on the baby's birth and our stay at the hospital. It's halfway done and saved in draft due to being so tied up adjusting and adapting to this new lifestyle.

Only one thing Mommy wants to mark this day. Your cord stump fell out! Mama said you must've followed me, mine fell off on the 7th day as well =)

We went to Gribbles pathology to do your blood test. Of course you didn't like it and screamed when they try squeezing blood out of both your heels. The prick wasn't so bad, only a small cry but the squeeze must have been awful. I'm sorry, baby. I don't like them doing all this to you more than you do. But we need to find out more.

At the laundromat (we've decided to dry our clothes there since it's almost winter and weather hasn't been very kind with sunshines lately), Dr Powers called and left a message. Good news, but we need to do another blood test on Friday. Ugh!

Oh after the pathology, we stopped by central market and supermarket to get more groceries. You were quite good. Slept through it all but squirmed and cried a little. Well, it was your feeding time by the end of our shopping frenzy.

Ok so that's all I can update for now. As soon you stump fell off, I started to "berbarut" you like Mama wanted. You don't seem to mind it at all. Good girl =)
