News

Last night your doctor called in the middle of the night and left a message for us to visit him the next morning. So today we went and he gave us some news about your progress. Your haemoglobin levels are on the low side (88/150) and you have Daddy's weirdo blood cell shape. You also might have thalasemia minor (like Mommy).

For some reason I don't feel that worried. Well really, it's not very serious or lethal. But we still need to do more blood work. So after the visit we head to the Children's Hospital for more blood to be drawn. And boy oh boy you cried. And screamed your lungs out.

Daddy was worried when you cried while Dr Powers was doing physical check on you so he insist on holding you after the visit while I settle the bill. Meanwhile I was more worried seeing you screamed and cried getting your blood out from that trainee nurse at the hospital so instead of putting you back on your stroller, I carried and soothed you all the way back to the car. Such an upsetting day you had today, baby. Poor thing!
