So it's been 2 years - almost 3 years - and we have been talking about another child possibly arrival by 2013.

It isn't as smooth sailing as we had before.

Some time in December 2011 Mama encountered an old lady with her family in Coffee Bean BSC whom she had praised for her luscious hair. And she had told her about my thinning hair problems. The nice old lady recommended Dato Dr Nathan, a dermatologist. Cut story short, we were booked for an appointment on Jan 3rd - 1125am.

Pictures of my hair were taken, some interviews and blood was extracted. He took a look and said, it looks like hereditary baldness. Given some vitamins, steroids, shampoo and birth control pills to regulate my hormones. Looking back now, Mama's brothers have thinning issues. Her eldest brother is bald. So is his son whom is only a year or two older than I am. So there you go.

Exactly 2 weeks later, I was back at the hospital for the blood results. Which was yesterday (January 17th, 2012). And it marks the day I found out I've secondary infertility. 2 of my female hormones are very low which also resulting to difficulties in conceiving. Hmm..

How am I taking all this? - Frustrations, of course. Disappointments. And I don't know how my husband will react to this. Though we had talked about it before. We had discussed the possibilities of not having children and he had said "It's okay, we'll have lots of cats. They'll be our babies." And if Mia will be our only child. He's still okay with it. But these were all back then. Back before we had Mia, back before we saw, felt and knew about raising a baby. How fulfilling and satisfying it is. Back before we had decided to give Mia a playmate.

Now I am all geared up. I am mentally and emotionally ready to go through those 9 blissful months again. Pushing through sleepless nights and labor pains.And I had to find out that I'm infertile!? Sighh..

I don't know much yet. I have done not much research about it and darling hubby has lots of unanswered questions. For the specialist, for me and for himself.
